Managing the risks relating to infections in both health & social care is a high priority for all Health & Social Care providers.

Compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 requires compliance with a range of fundamental standards to provide assurance relating to the delivery of care.
The Code of Practice for the prevention and control of infections and related guidance (DOH 2015) provides a framework for the delivery (and assurance) of standards relating to Infection Prevention and Control and forms the basis of the content for all of our 2- days courses.

Our extensive range of RCN-accredited Infection Prevention & Control Link Practitioner/champions/leads courses provide an intensive practice-based and interactive learning opportunity for those staff in positions of responsibility for ensuring IPC standards are assessed, put in place and acted upon.

Our courses, all delivered by experienced qualified specialist nurses, provide the underpinning theoretical knowledge (and evidence based) for practice supported opportunities to assess the risk of, prevent, detect and control the spread of infections. Delegates will be provided with a number of tools and resources for future use within their work environment.
