Course Summary
This is a newly released 4-hour Infection Prevention & Control Risk Assessment & Developing an Annual Programme course for Care Home Managers/Deputy Managers/IPC leads for Care Homes. At the end of this course delegates should be able to::
- Understand their organisation’s responsibilities in complying with The Health & Social Care Act 2008 Code of Practice 2022
- Undertake an IPC risk assessment determining their priorities for future development
- Develop an annual programme
- Create solutions using the hierarchy of controls to develop action plans for their facilities
- Report on the annual programme and action plans for their annual statement/annual report
