Managing the risks relating to infections in both health & social care is a high priority for all health & social care providers. Compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and the Code of Practice 2022 requires infection prevention and control (IPC) training. IPC training and IPC updates are key elements to reducing any IPC risks, both to the residents and to care home staff.

Payment accepted via invoice or credit card

We offer all of the essential IPC training courses social care providers should consider for their staff, from an RCN-accredited two-day IPC link practitioner course, to the mandatory training which meets the requirements of level 1 & 2 of the core skills framework for health and care staff. Also available is dedicated cleaners’ training, including Our NHS cleaning Standards course for cleaners and supervisors in a healthcare setting. Our wide range of training further includes shorter, more focused training for staff who need an update on a specific subject rather than a whole IPC update. All courses are delivered by our infection control specialist nurse team, and are either delivered live via Zoom online, or onsite if the client requires this and we have availability. We also undertake dedicated client-specific training for all care home clients where you may prefer training to be dedicated to your staff. If you prefer to discuss bespoke training options not shown on the website, please call the office on 020 8906 2777.

As all of our courses are only available for live Zoom online courses, or face to face (we do not have any e-learning packages), we provide an optimal learning experience, allowing for Q&A sessions that can be answered live. We also adapt our courses immediately after any updates become known; we work very dynamically and IPS makes sure all our delegates have a solid learning experience at the end of each course. All our courses come with a Certificate of Attendance and CPD hours where applicable.
