Our recently revised adult social care audit tools, IPC Polices and infection prevention in social care training courses, including the RCN accredited courses, are all designed to ensure care homes meet the standards required by the Health and Social Care Act 2008 Code of Practice on the prevention and control of infections and related guidance (2022). These standards also satisfy regulatory requirements of standards 12 and 15 (Essential Quality Standards) ensuring that environments and practices reflect the evidence base for care (where this exists). The audit tools available for purchase on this website take a pragmatic and objective approach to auditing the care home environment ensuring safety is of paramount concern.
Within this section, we will be showcasing all our newly updated training courses, from the 2-day Royal College of Nursing accredited IP & C Link Practitioner courses, to shorter more focused courses, made succinct for optimal learning. All are delivered via Zoom by fully qualified infection control specialist nurses.
