Comprehensive Environmental and Basic Clinical Practice Audit

This IPC audit is undertaken by a trained member of our infection control team and consists of a full IPC audit, including governance, clinical environment, clinical practice, clinical equipment, sharps, waste, hand hygiene, decontamination of environment and vaccine management . Where minor surgery is undertaken, the IPC audit tool has an optional section to cover this in detail.  The sample IPC audit report below does not show minor surgery as a section, but it does exist, if required and is added as part of the same price.

The IPC audit is roughly two-three hours long; we do not go into every room but are very able to work around patients.  You will also get a full colour coded report referenced throughout. The action plan is s fully editable Microsoft Word document. An email listing the documents to have ready will be sent along with the mutually agreed date booking confirmation. The full report and action plan will be sent to you within 5 working days after the day of the audit is completed. If the IPC report is need sooner this can be resolved when booking.
