Infection Prevention and Control Lead and Link Practitioner Course Adult Residential & Nursing Care Providers (HOSPICE SPECIFIC)
This course is targeted for Hospice staff only

This intensive, practice-based study day is intended for registered managers, registered nurses and senior support staff who have managerial responsibilities for the care of adult and Paediatric users in Hospices. The study day assumes that delegates will have a basic level of understanding of day-to-day infection prevention and control issues inc. Standard Infection Control Precautions and will be experienced in managing day-to-day IPC related events inc. outbreaks of infection in a range of social care environments. This study day does NOT provide training in the basic principles of IPC. This knowledge can be obtained on our two-day RCN-accredited Infection Control Link Practitioner (ICLP) and Lead course, which can also be booked online.
