Infection Prevention & Control One Day Refresher Course – Mental Health

This sector course caters to IPC leads for Mental Health facilities, Managers, Nurses, senior staff with the IPC role.

Who is the course aimed at:

This intensive, new practice-based study day is intended for registered managers, registered nurses, IPC leads and link practitioners who have managerial responsibilities for the care of service users in their facility.  This study day is highly interactive using break-out groups and group discussions led by the trainers who are all highly experienced ICNs.

This study day assumes that delegates have previously attended our 2-day link practitioner course or have had relevant IPC link practitioner training elsewhere as the content of the day builds on the knowledge gained previously, applying it to delegates everyday practice.

This study day does NOT provide training in the basic principles of IPC.  This knowledge can be obtained on our two-day RCN-accredited Infection Prevention and Control Link Practitioner (IPCLP) course, alternatively, if you have had an IPC basic principal training elsewhere.
